Hello, my name is Cassandra Drenthe. I am a graduate student in the Doctor of Audiology program at Northwestern University. I graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I joined the Central Auditory Physiology Lab during the summer of 2018 to work on a capstone research project with Dr. Sanchez. Our project is to validate and build upon a previous study that investigated measurements that identify and measure the phenomenon known as “hidden hearing loss.” My clinical interests are vestibular assessment and rehabilitation, adult and pediatric diagnostics, implantable devices, and electrophysiological testing. My recreational interests are reading, taking photos of nature, painting, watching movies, and skating.
