My name is Alyssa and I am originally from Dayton, OH. I attended THE Ohio State University where I graduated with a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a minor in disability studies. I joined the Central Auditory Physiology Lab during the summer of 2018 to work on a capstone research project with Dr. Sanchez. Our project is to validate and build upon a previous study that investigated measurements that identify and measure the phenomenon known as “hidden hearing loss.” My clinical interests include pediatric diagnostics and hearing aids, vestibular assessments, electrophysiological testing, and implantable devices. My recreational interests include baking, painting, hiking, my dog, movies, attending concerns, and watching Big 10 football!
