My name is Izzy and I am a graduate student in the Doctor of Audiology program at Northwestern University. I am from originally from St. Charles, IL and went to Miami University in Oxford, OH (not the warm one). At Miami, I was a double major, getting a Bachelor of Science in communication science disorders, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I joined the CAP lab in the summer of 2021 to work with Dr. Sanchez and Kailyn McFarlane on my capstone research project. Emily Kidwell and I will be working to identify optimal ECochG recording parameters for optimization of early/fast evoked potentials. Clinically, I am interested in central auditory processing and everything related to electrophysiology and evoked potentials. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, meeting the dogs of Evanston, and working at the Starbucks downtown.
