Central Auditory Physiology Laboratory

Hui Hong

I am Hui. I am a PhD student in the department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. I was an undergraduate at Tsinghua University in China and majored in Biomedical Engineering. My current research interest is the development of voltage-activated potassium channels in the avian cochlear nucleus. The method I use is whole-cell patch clamp electrophysiology. Besides being a crazy PhD student, I am still a normal person who likes music and traveling. I especially like visiting museums and cultural heritages. I have been in Illinois for less than a year so I have lot of traveling plans for the rest of my time here!
