I am a graduate student in the Doctor of Audiology program at Northwestern University. I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology from Miami University in Ohio. My first research experience was in a Behavioral Neuroscience lab at Miami focusing on the phenomenon of memory reconsolidation in rats. I joined the Central Auditory Physiology lab as part of my research capstone. We are researching “hidden hearing loss” and potential bio-physiological markers that can be used in a clinic setting. Evidence-based practice is something I believe is very important in audiology and I hope this project can add to future clinical developments regarding hidden hearing loss. My clinical interests include adult and pediatric diagnostics, electrophysiological testing, and vestibular assessments.
