My name is Josh Venegas, originally from Wixom, MI, and I’m currently an undergraduate at Northwestern University studying Neuroscience and Sociology. I plan on attending medical school after graduation to pursue a career in pediatrics. I started working with Dr. Sanchez in the Winter of 2018, and I am currently working on learning patch clamping in order to develop my ability to study auditory neurons. Outside of lab and class I spend most of my time playing for the club ultimate frisbee team here at Northwestern. I also enjoy playing disc golf, real golf, and I’m a big fan of movies.
