My name is Ari Cohen and I’m currently a senior at Northwestern University studying Communication Sciences and Disorders and Spanish. I spent my freshman year at the University of Michigan studying Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience but later transferred to Northwestern to pursue my interests in communication sciences. I joined Dr. Sanchez’s lab in the fall of 2016 helping Ting Lu develop and publish the In Ovo Electroporation technique used in the lab. I am particularly interested in performing the technique myself and further developing the lab website. I am in the process of applying to graduate school for audiology as I’d like to continue my studies in this fascinating field. I spend my free time cheering for Northwestern’s B1G sports as a member of the Varsity Cheerleading Squad and I manage formal recruitment for my sorority on campus.
