My name is Liz and I am a graduate student in the Doctor of Audiology program at Northwestern University. I am originally from La Grange, IL and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I graduated with a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a concentration in Audiology. I joined the Central Auditory Physiology Lab during the summer of 2019 to work on a capstone research project with Dr. Sanchez and Kailyn McFarlane. Our project will validate and build upon a previous study that investigated measurements that identify and measure the phenomenon known as “hidden hearing loss.” My clinical interests include adult and pediatric diagnostics, electrophysiological testing, and implantable devices. My recreational interests include eating Thai food, exercising, painting, reading, being a barista, and watching movies.
