Hello! My name is Emily and I am a graduate student in the Doctor of Audiology program at Northwestern University. I am originally from Louisville, KY and went to Centre College where I majored in Neuroscience and Education and worked on EEG-based research studying neurofeedback and the effects of concussions on visual attention under Dr. KatieAnn Skogsberg. I joined the CAP lab in the summer of 2021 to work with Dr. Sanchez and Kailyn McFarlane on my capstone research project. Izzy Herb and I will be working to identify ideal ECochG recording parameters for the optimization of early/fast evoked potentials. My clinical interests include electrophysiology and auditory processing. Outside of school, I enjoy biking by the lake, hanging out my cat Mouse, and stress baking banana bread.
