Hi! My name is Shreya and I am a third-year studying CSD and Economics on the Pre-Medicine track at Northwestern University. I’m from a northwestern Chicago suburb (college name match completely unintentional) and I joined the CAPLab during the Fall of 2020. I will be working with Ph. D candidate Momoko Takahashi on the role of neurotrophins in the development of auditory neurons. I hope to eventually conduct an independent research project studying these phenomenons even further. I aspire to go to medical school and aid in turning the tide towards more accessible healthcare for all. Otherwise, you can find me doing some stand-up, performing Indian classical dance, trying new foods, or talking anyone’s ear off.
